About

A few factoids about me, Wilson Lee, otherwise known as kourge.

  • I live in Bellevue, Washington, in United States. Bellevue is across Lake Washington from Seattle
  • Does LAMP and Ajax, can use both Prototype and jQuery for JavaScript development
  • Goes to Newport. If you're at Newport and still don't know who I am, I'm the ninja guy who made the paper shuriken that are commonly sighted at Newport

About this site

This site used to be a hand-coded PHP powered site, because of that, the fellas at Sonique Forums (now defunct) said that I'm a hardcore coder. But now I'm using an awesome CMS, Drupal, for the sake of management and flexibility. Korp, by the way, uncreatively stands for kourge's organized resource place, depending on what your definition of creativity is.

Things I do

Occasionally, I like to take projects on designing, sometimes even redesigning, websites. Since I do these out of my interest, the process doesn't involve money. However, feel free to contact me if you have any interests.

I try to make pages that are standard complaint. Sticking to XHTML is a general rule of thumb. However, my philosophy is that the standard isn't a shrine you should swear to worship to; there are times when you need to break them. Breaking standards doesn't mean breaking functionality.

I also do internationalization (i18n), and sometimes even localization (l10n) for applications and Web services, in Traditional Chinese (zh-TW). I do this in spirit of "community effort," since most of my i18n projects are involved with open source software and Web services. Also feel free to contact me on internationalization and localization.
